The bouquet is intense and identifies the presence of prunes, cloves, humus, truffles, earth and tobacco leaves. It is austere and matured but not aged. A complex yet well balanced fragrance.

Tasting Notes:

The fragrance that is captured in the bouquet returns to the mouth when tasted. The tannins which are sustained by the distinct structure that is composed of a lively taste of plums gives them a firm structure. The taste is softly bitter making it intense and elegant. The alcohol level is harmonious. The acidity is crisp. An impeccable combination between taste and olfactory, a nice persistence that concludes with a note of raspberries and a touch of citrus with a vague hint of incense.

Food Pairing:

This wine weds religiously with wild game roasts and beef. Seasoned and aged cheeses (not too spicy though) are also good companions.
